Network Security Veteran Robert Thomas Joins Board Of Directors At Nevis Networks

Thomas to Help Guide Nevis through Market Ramp of Nevis’ LAN Security Systems

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – December 5, 2005 – Nevis Networks, a provider of ASIC-based LAN security appliances, announced today that it has appointed Robert Thomas, president and CEO of Infoblox, Inc., to its Board of Directors.

Prior to Infoblox, Thomas was the CEO and president of NetScreen, where he grew the company from start-up through successful IPO and eventual multi-billion dollar acquisition by Juniper Networks. Thomas’ in-depth knowledge of the security industry and wide-ranging management experience will be invaluable to Nevis as the company grows and further develops its disruptive network security solutions. Thomas previously held positions at Sun Microsystems, Fujitsu, and ICL. He holds a BS in mathematics from Adelaide University in Australia.
