Cooperation and Knowledge Sharing Will Help Emergency Response to Network Security Threats in India 

NEW DELHI, India  April 29, 2011 -Nevis Networks, a global provider of Network Security, today announced that it has extended an existing  Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) for an additional one year. This MoU facilitates sharing of critical daily threat information for the protection of mission critical networks in India and world-wide, collaborate to increase awareness of important security issues, and to participate in emergency response to critical threats.

“Network related threats have been rising by the day. The attacks have become more complex, sophisticated in delivery and are capable of avoiding detection. The response to these attacks requires speed, expertise and continuous research. Nevis Networks research team has been working with CERT-In for the last one year through a MoU  by providing daily network threats information and possible solutions. We are happy to extend our cooperation for an additional one year through the extension of MoU.” said Dr. Radha Shelat, CEO & President of Nevis Networks.
