Nevis Networks Named One of IT Week’s Top 50 Technology Innovators of 2005

Company Receives Award Just Weeks after the Launch of its LANenforcer Security Appliances

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – December 6, 2005 – Nevis Networks, a provider of ASIC-based LAN security appliances, announced today that it has been honored as one of IT Week’s Top 50 Technology Innovators of 2005. The December 5th issue of IT Week published its list of the 50 companies it deemed to have been the most innovative on the technology front in the last year. Awardees spanned diverse fields of business, including networking, security, imaging software, and business software. Ken Durham, editor of IT Week magazine, explained that the list had evolved from the magazine’s observations about the new technologies it featured during the last year and that although it was a hard pick, he was very proud to be able to showcase the great work the 50 companies have done in the magazine.
